Minnesota Network on Abuse in Later Life

According to the Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women’s 2005 Minnesota Femicide Report, of the 27 women and 3 men who died at the hand of a family member or trusted loved one, 10 women and all 3 men were over 50 years old!

Individual donors allow MNALL to:

·         serve as an information clearinghouse

·         to create public awareness

·         to print training materials

·         and to train those serving seniors on ways to recognize
     and address the issues of domestic and sexual abuse in
     later life, advocacy and perpetrator accountability

We promote community partnerships statewide among organizations and individuals serving seniors.  Our long-term goal is to have community partnerships, in every area of Minnesota, that respond as needed when senior victims of abuse are identified or when they reach out for help.  These partnerships provide the most effective advocacy and support to victims and reduce the burden on each program, agency and individual advocate. 

MNALL is a statewide not-for-profit organization and without the generosity of individual donors, we cannot continue our work to end domestic and sexual abuse in later life.  We need your help to continue.
